This session is part of a practical training series designed to help Part C assessors strengthen their assessment skills. This webinar dives into effective strategies for initial and ongoing assessments exploring ways to use assessment tools and standardized measures in combination with other methods for comprehensive child assessment.

  1. Identify assessment tools used in Early Intervention along with the strengths and limitations of these tools when gathering information.
  2. Recognize, select, and use appropriate tools for the child and family and effectively communicate the results.

  • This module is eligible for one (1.5) unit hours in the areas of EI developmental specialist/supervisor and EI service coordinator/supervisor as approved by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
