Misuse of and addiction to opioids and other substances has reached an epidemic level. Newborns of women addicted to substances may experience many physical and psychological consequences at birth and throughout development. In this webinar, Dr. Robert Gallen will focus on what we know about the effect of opioids on developing children, how the caregiver-child relationship is affected and how we can strengthen the relationship through our strategies in Early Intervention.
