Early Communication
Event Description
This series includes four self-study training presentations that focus on early communication. These four modules include an introduction to significant milestones in early communication, preverbal communication, strategies for supporting parents, and preparing families for a child's transition to preschool with considerations for when a child is non-verbal. Throughout the series, there will be specific considerations for children with conditions such as intra-uterine opioid exposure, lead exposure, hearing loss, cerebral palsy, and childhood apraxia. You must complete all four modules to receive credit.
