State Early Intervention Team

Lindsey Jay

Regional Program Consultant

Lindsey serves as an Ohio Early Intervention (EI) regional program consultant. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University. She holds a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Xavier University. Lindsey found her passion working in the developmental disability field over 25 years ago in high school, while working as a respite provider in homes with classmates who had different abilities. Throughout her college experience, Lindsey found her love for EI when serving young, underprivileged children in urban communities in their homes and daycare settings. Post graduation, Lindsey started at the Hamilton County Board of Developmental Disabilities in a classroom as an intervention specialist (moderate to intensive). She changed gears and landed in EI where she spent 16 years in homes as a primary service provider supporting children and their families. She is credentialed through the Department of Developmental Disabilities as a developmental specialist. Lindsey also brings her personal experiences to the state team, as a parent of triplets who received EI services in Ohio.
